Master's degree studies
You will learn how contemporary cities and their key institutions function and how they should function, not only in social, but also in economic, spatial and cultural dimensions. Thanks to the interdisciplinary nature of the studies you will be well-acquainted with the issues of spatial planning, urban economy, territorial marketing.
You will also gain the knowledge in sociology and other social sciences, especially in economics and you will gain the skills enabling you to put this knowledge into social practice. You will learn basic methods and techniques of social research and foundations of statistical inference.
Thanks to this you will know what research methods to choose to obtain answers to simple research questions. The skills you gain will let you gather and process information and formulate information messages useful both in explaining social life phenomena and processes and propose practical solutions.
You will be prepared to apply the project management and implementation methodology and to build a project team.
