The project focuses on creation of a methodological concept for managing relations between stakeholders operating both within local government units (their authorities and offices) and in their external environment, i.e. with external interest groups. Both diagnostic approaches, enabling the identification and assessment of the considered relationships, and prognostic approaches, i.e. aimed at developing model solutions in the studied area, will be taken into account.
The project covers the following three areas of research:
- A general model of relationship management in local government.
- Stakeholder analysis in local government.
- Principles and methods of managing these relationships.
