The aim of the project is to study socio-economic phenomena that have a spatial aspect. The authors want to deepen knowledge about the uncontrolled growth of cities, problems of rural areas around urban areas, external effects, demographic phenomena, the use of GIS spatial data in economic analyzes and problems related to the energy crisis and rational use of spatial resources. The research group aims to expand knowledge of socio-economic geography. The research will use various spatial data sets. Statistical and spatial analyzes will allow for deepening knowledge about economic processes in the studied areas. The research carried out is important for analyzes related to renewable energy, especially photovoltaics, and the broadly understood issue of the development of cities and regions.
