Kolegium Gospodarki i Administracji Publicznej UEK

The topic focuses on improving services in public sector organizations in the context of the experience of European countries. Publicly funded organizations were established to provide essential services to the community, mainly focusing on the provision of health, welfare and community services, often available for free or at a flat cost. Currently, the focus on economic efficiency causes the implementation of public services to face new challenges resulting from budget cuts as well as competition with private service providers. The literature on the subject is dominated by country-specific studies, and there is a lack of comparative analyzes of programs for improving various types of public services among European service providers.

The research is planned to be carried out in accordance with the QCA (Qualitative Comparative Analysis) analytical procedure. The planned scientific effects are the identification and then comparative analysis of the solutions used and programs for improving services provided by public sector entities in Poland and Europe.
